Statement of Faith
We are the Benton Homeschool Corporation.
Though religious affiliations of families represented in this organization vary, we are nonetheless completely united in our belief that: Ephesians 4:1-6

The Godhead is composed of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit and they are equal and eternally existent. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was conceived by the Virgin Mary when the Holy Spirit came over her and the power of the most High overshadowed her, who was crucified, died a sinners death, was buried, and then rose again on the third day. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. From there he will return for believers and to judge mankind.

Children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord. Parents are to demonstrate to their children, God’s pattern for marriage. Parents are to teach their children spiritual and moral values and to lead them based on biblical truth. Children are to honor and obey their parents.

The Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible are the God-breathed record of God's dealing with man from the beginning. It contains the divine direction for all of man's needs as well as the knowledge necessary to man for his eternal salvation, which is by grace alone available to all, through faith in Jesus Christ, our crucified and risen, Savior.

The family was the first holy, human institution created by God from the beginning of time. Understanding, then, the sanctity of the Family relationship and that the preservation of it, in keeping with God's Laws, both secures to us His blessing and guarantees a firm foundation upon which our State and Nation may flourish. We have come together for the purpose of providing mutual advice and encouragement to those who are like-minded in that, we have chosen to educate our children in the home because of our belief that we, as parents, are ultimately accountable to God for raising our children in the nurture and the admonition of the Lord. It is our belief that the true worth of all knowledge must be determined solely by how well that knowledge may be utilized in daily service to God as He has revealed Himself and His purpose in His Word.
Numbers 23:19; Romans 1:27; Titus 2
